Cacti tips : SNMP Counter data type at non-interface OID

May 8, 2012 – 17:48

If you saw m (mili) value at your non-interface OID graphical data, no need to worry, probably you have the right data, but see wrong graphic.

Oke here it’s the basic concept why above case can happen to you :
– Counter data type save the data in seconds rate, so this is not good for non-interface OID, because they has different behavior.

To correct this ‘error’ you just need to apply Multiply 300 function at your CDEF, and create separate template if needed.
